Meet Morgan and big brother Christian. I have been photographing Christian for years now.... it's always very exciting for me to see families grow and document the newest members!  Morgan is absolutely too cute for words and very very intrigued by the camera.  Looking forward to capturing her at her 4 month session.

My little neice that was born 2 months premature has just reached her 3 month marker and i definitely wanted to document that accomplishment...this was my favorite image from the other day. Happy 3 months Leah Shaelyn!

Yes, I have had older blog posts with my sister's daughters name as Shaelyn, but they actually decided to change her name to Leah Shaelyn.  Which the name "Leah" was derived out of her original Irish name of S"hael"ynn, if you look at it backwards!   So without any further explanations here are Leah's Infant images!

 

 

A day spent with my nieces, they just keep growing and growing!  Morgan is 18 months and Molly is 3 and just started pre-school.

My sister Erin and brother-in-law Pad gave birth to a beautiful baby girl August 10th, 2009 - Baby Shaelyn Keegin was born 2 months premature.  Erin's due date was actually October 3rd!!!!  It took a good 20 days for Shaelyn to battle life itself and grow from a whopping 4lbs 3oz. to 4lbs 13 oz. and was just recently released at 35 weeks. She actually just recently came home and it happened to be a day before my sister's 6th Wedding Anniversary, so it really was perfect timing!She is now 5lbs and doing great...will keep updating the site regularly with new pictures as she gows.

I know everyone has been eagerly awaiting this sneak peek.... I had to post a picture of my so very UNEXPECTED niece.  Shaelyn Keegan (very Irish) was born August 10th & her due date was October 3rd! So she was 2 months premature. Poor little gal didn't even give me the chance to get maternity pictures of mommy's belly before she came out. Right now she has a tube down her throat just to get her through the transition while her lungs are still maturing but they are almost completely there. It's amazing how developed babies are this early on... and I learned baby girls actually develop faster than baby boys; seems to be a pattern. ha ha 

Thank you everyone for all of your thoughts & prayers, they were so helpful and everything turned out A-Ok. Special Thanks to Kara for taking care of my sister.

I cannot believe how fast time flies... it seems like it was just yesterday that my bestfriend Melany found out she was pregnant with a baby boy, and now all of a sudden he is not such a baby anymore! He is growing into a beautiful little toddler  :) Deklan is crawling, walking, talking and has a full set of teeth (12 to be exact!)

Deklan turned one on May 31st, so I knew we had to get his one year shots in so I can complete an album of his first year photographs.

I can hardly believe how much they change from infant to 12 months old, Happy Birthday Deklan!!

It was less than a month ago that Jared and Ilyshia were expecting their first child, and were guests at our wedding (Jared and hubby Jimmie have been good friends for years). Today, I had the pleasure of shooting Little Jacob who is only 15 days old today.... He was born April 29th, 2009!

Jacob, only being 2 weeks old still has his umbilical cord, so we had it protected with a bandaid for the shoot.  We started off strong and little Jacob was in fine photogenic form.

I absolutely love the baby wrinkles in the picture above.

 

While taking the two pictures below, somehow (I have no idea how) these shots caught some type of window refraction and appeared in the photos. I decided to keep the shots because the more I looked at them the more I began to like this effect that mysteriously happened.  (FYI: there was absolutely no sunlight coming in through the windows today-it was raining.)

You can tell Jared is a very proud daddy, he's already looking forward to watching him grow.

Eventually Jacob's expert model behavior faded, and after a full diaper and quick change, the poor little guy was still a bit cranky.

Crying or not, Jacob still takes a great picture.  I know there are two anxious parents waiting to see these pictures, so I'll let you get to it!  Jacob is very lucky to have parents that love him so much, not only are Jared and Ily excited to watch Jacob grow but he has a huge group of friends that are excited to as well!

I was so happy to hear from my previous boss that he and his wife were expecting back when I was still working full time (summer of 08'), but even more thrilled to be contacted by the two of them once they welcomed a baby boy into their family!  They decided to name him Alexander Orester....

With all the great pictures and different faces I had to to choose from, I couldn't pick just one photo of Alex - I had to make a collage!

Big sisters Catherine and Elizabeth seemed thrilled to have a little brother added to the family.

The older sisters were also very anxious and willing to help mommy with the baby.

You could easily say the girls definitely follow in their mommies footsteps....

The girls were also more than willing to give their little brother Alex affection any chance they could get!

Before I left, I took the girls outside for a little bit to shoot and they beat me into the house & proceeded to make silly faces at me through the glass door.

 Which gave me the awesome opportunity to capture their silly personalities as well as let me catch these last two great shots of the girls!

I had a great time shooting the family and will have more shots to post from Alex's Christening.

While planning my wedding, I got to meet this incredibly talented woman by the name of Carolina Gonzalez (of Bella Confectionary Arts), we actually met through my sister because i was on the lookout for a baker for our wedding cake!  While in the process of hiring Carolina she has asked me to take pictures of her very handsome growing Eliseo!

He turned one year old in February & we had a beautiful March day to capture these shots.

I could hardly believe my eyes when my best friend Melany told me Deklan was 2 months shy of turning 1!  Look at all of his teeth showing :)

While she was home for my bridal shower we decided to snap a few pictures of him just to get him caught up to date with his "BABIES 1st YEAR" pictures.....

Keep in mind I have been photographing Deklan since before he was born in Mommy's tummy!

He is quite photogenic for 9 month old! He must be used to it by now...

I was contacted by Julie and Travis around December to schedule an Infant session for their two little boys Landon and Boden.  I had no idea they were going to be so so adorable :)   This family was an absolute joy to work with and I look forward to documenting more special moments as these two boys grow up.

 

December 8th, 2008 - Giada Teresa was born and I met up with the Montone family to document their daughters birth! 

I think it is so beautiful to document newborns tiny hands, feet, ears, tummy's - all the litte details that make these infants so unique.

Giada is naturally a very happy baby & up to this date the most photogenic baby I have ever photographed, I cannot remember any other infants interacting with me as much as she did! Look at her she is ALL SMILES :)

 

It was such a pleasure photographing Ava again at 1 year old. Last time I saw her she was only a few weeks old, so it was quite a surprise to see how much she had GROWN in the year that had passed!
