It was such a pleasure photographing Ava again at 1 year old. Last time I saw her she was only a few weeks old, so it was quite a surprise to see how much she had GROWN in the year that had passed!

She looked absolutely adorable in her light blue polka dot dress that matched her eyes so perfectly

I cannot believe she was walking already! But I guess that is what one year olds do :)

During Ava's outfit change in the kitchen she decided to pick up a peach off the counter and start eating it, so we let her keep it for the pictures

I was ecstatic to learn Brian & Peri had contacted us to do their wedding in New Rochelle, NY but even more ecstatic to learn they were actually artists themselves!   Peri is a pastry chef at a bakery in downtown Philadelphia and Brian has a phenomenal music career as the lead singer of the band Fooling April.  

My favorite type of clients to work with are couples who are creative themselves and have a great appreciation for photography.  This wedding took place August 8th, 2008 at the gorgeous beach front property of the Green Tree Club, in New Rochelle, New York. The Slippery band was like no other band I have ever seen! Definitely check them out if you are in the Philadelphia area.

 Everything was chosen in good taste...from the tiny details of the shoes, to the dress, to the hairpiece and the bright flowers - Peri made an absolutely Stunning Bride!

 

 

 

One of my favorite parts of the entire wedding day was when Brian surprised Peri with a song he had written especially for her. This last shot was taken right after he had finished performing. This was definitely a very special moment & as you can tell from all these pictures they are just wonderful together.
